D&D Bastion Tracker

Manage facilities, defenders, Bastion turns, and your current tracker sheet.

Controls

Current bastion

Start or edit a tracker, save current sheet values, or move a validated file between browsers.

Bastion builder

Shape your bastion

Customize optional parameters, then submit them to the current Bastion tracker.

Identity

Name the stronghold and character who owns it.

Character level

Level controls special-facility choices and capacity.

About character level

If you choose to include Bastions in your campaign, characters get their Bastion when they reach level 5.

The level determines what kind of facilities, hirelings, and Bastion upgrades you can access. Higher levels unlock more special features for your Bastion.

Basic facility

Optionally add one purchasable facility and choose its space.

About basic facilities

Each character’s Bastion starts with two free basic facilities, which the player gets to choose from the list. One of them should be Cramped, and the other Roomy (check the Facility Space table for what that means). You’re allowed to pick the same type of facility more than once if you want.

Every basic facility comes already set up with normal, non-magical furniture and decorations that match its purpose.

About facility space

A player can choose to add a basic facility to their Bastion by spending money and time. The time and cost of adding a basic facility depend on the facility’s space, as shown on the select options.

Special facility

Optionally add one facility allowed by current character level.

Special-facility limit reached

Remove a current special facility before choosing another one.

About special facilities

Special facilities are unique spots in your Bastion where you can do cool stuff that gives your character some in-game perks. When you first get your Bastion, you can pick two special facilities you qualify for—your choice. You can’t have the same one twice unless it says you can.

Unlike the basic facilities (which you can just buy), you earn special ones as your character levels up. When you hit level 9, you get to choose two more. Then you’ll get another one at level 13, and one more at level 17.

Level Special Facilities
5 2
9 4
13 5
17 6

The “Special Facility Acquisition” table keeps track of how many you’ve unlocked total. As soon as you level up and get a new one, it becomes part of your Bastion automatically. No need to do anything extra.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the Bastion Builder menu?

Create a Bastion first, open Set Bastion Options, choose facilities or other editable values, then submit the form to update the tracker.

What happens when I take a Bastion turn?

The current tracker orders are resolved for exactly one turn. Recruit can change the tracker state, Maintain can trigger a Bastion event, and all orders reset to None afterward.
